Language delay
Improving language comprehension and expression, including following instructions, expanding vocabulary, acquiring varied and complex sentences, and organizing thoughts and ideas into a coherent, clear message.
I assess and treat communication, language and speech, from childhood to adulthood.

Get to know me
I'm a speech-language pathologist (B.A. in Communication Disorders) with extensive clinical experience in assessing and treating communication, language and speech. My professional background combines clinical work with experience managing, coordinating and supervising speech-language pathologists in the public sector. I also work with children on the autism spectrum and their families in communication preschools, as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Long before I became a speech-language pathologist, I was a child in therapy myself. I may not remember every detail of what happened in those sessions, but I remember well how they made me feel. That experience planted a dream in me that led me to who I am today: a speech-language pathologist who gets to give children and teens a sense of capability, and help them become conversation partners who express themselves with confidence, just as I was given.
I believe that communication, language and speech grow out of curiosity and enjoyment. For me, the therapy room is a safe, accepting space with the opportunity to try things out, explore, play and learn: to succeed, and yes, to make mistakes too.
My approach puts the client at the center and sees them and their family as full partners on the journey. Through play and connecting with their inner world, I advance the therapy goals and reflect back to them, at eye level, the process we go through together.
